A full-time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 public school district located in Mesquite, TX. This contract assignment runs from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026, supporting students across multiple campuses in an itinerant capacity. The position combines on-site responsibilities with a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing one day per week to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations as part of the districts evaluation team.
- Support students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language services.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop individualized education plans.
- Utilize district-provided resources, including test kits and technology, for assessments and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of an active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish required to serve bilingual student populations.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in an itinerant role.
Work Details:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week (7.5-hour days).
